"We break up life into little bits, and fritter it away."

Seneca, Moral Letter 32

💭 Modern Translation

Monday arrives in pieces. A "quick question," a Slack ping, a ping about the ping. By 3 p.m. you've been busy for six hours and can't name one thing you finished. We make the pieces ourselves. Seneca saw this one coming.

⚡️ Your Move

Before you open email, name the one task that would make today count. If a ping pulls you off it, write the ping on a list and go back. One tab. Phone in another room.

🤔 Today's Question

What did you do today that felt busy and finished nothing?

Finish the one thing,

Jon
