Seneca is saying that the point isn’t oatmeal or Uber Eats: the point is a few days of voluntary plain food and rough clothes, chosen before life chooses for you. You might still miss the takeout. But now you can compare the inconvenience you imagined with the one you actually experienced.

Drop one comfort until Sunday: delivery, the second coffee. If it's delivery, cook something plain and eat enough. If food is tight or complicated for you, pick another comfort.
